Wellbeing

Supporting students to be capable, courageous and caring

Each student belongs to one of four House groups with the same Kaya teacher from Years 7 to 12. This enables teachers to journey with the students and monitor their academic progress, co-curricular commitments, and wellbeing, while giving students the opportunity to make friends amongst their House throughout a range of year groups.

Students are encouraged to socialise formally and informally through Socials, Dinner Dances and the Year 12 Ball. We partner with schools such as Hale School, Wesley College, Trinity College and Aquinas College to support the students to develop meaningful friendships.

Beliefs and Values

We believe in helping our girls make decisions in life with care, courage and confidence. Our Beliefs and Values department works hard to encourage our girls to develop their own spirituality through a range of challenging and enlightening programs tailored to each year level.

In the Senior School, we focus on global Anglicanism, faith and spirituality. Students in Years 7–10 participate in subjects including Bible Studies, Philosophy, Social Justice and Spirituality, while Year 11 students study Philosophy and Ethics 2A. Year 12 students have the opportunity to further undertake Philosophy and Ethics 3A/3B.
