Early Years - Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2

A caring and nurturing environment for students to grow and flourish

Why choose an early learning years experience at Perth College for your child?

In the early years, children are seen as strong and capable learners, with infinite potential and an inherent capacity to theorise, be resourceful and creative. Our environment supports children to share their theories and thinking, and build on their existing knowledge. We engage with children, families and the community in partnership to encourage our youngest learners to reach their personal best.

Our Approach

Rich teacher guided and explicit teaching is balanced alongside intentional play and experiential learning. There is a strong focus on early literacy and numeracy skills, as well as inquiry learning skills. Children are provided with challenge and choice, with their rights as agents in the learning process upheld. All staff are early childhood trained from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 and are experts in age appropriate development and care deeply about each individual child and their family.
