PC+ Extended Hours Learning Program

PC+ extended hours learning program

PC+ is an extended hours learning program, providing a supervised and structured environment for Perth College students in Years 7 to 12. Students will have access to tutors, including recently-graduated, high-achieving Old Girls, to assist with homework, assessment preparation and study techniques. Time management and learning strategies will also help students to strengthen their organisation skills and increase their independence.

PC+ is offered each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm during term time. The program costs $25 per day with dinner included. Parents can enrol their child for a single day or multiple days.

What if my daughter is competing in IGSSA or a co-curricular activity? Can she still participate in the PC+ program?

Yes, she can. Co-curricular activities usually finish by 5.30 pm. Students participating in IGSSA sport sometimes return from an away fixture after 5.30 pm. If this is the case, they will eat dinner upon their return to school as outlined below and will be able to use the changerooms to shower if required.

What should my daughter do between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm if enrolled in the PC+ program?

We encourage students to attend the Brain Boost Homework Centre or engage in a wide variety of co-curricular activities during these hours.

What time will dinner be provided?

Dinner will be provided in the Rose Family Dining Room (Excelsior House) from 6.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Students returning late from an IGSSA fixture will eat their dinner upon arrival back at school.

Can I pick my daughter up before 8.00 pm?

Yes, you can, but you will be charged the same daily rate of $25. Parents will be required to collect their daughters in person from Excelsior House by 8.00 pm.
