Academic Life

Broadening minds to be savvier, wiser, braver.

Years 7 to 10.

From Years 7 to 10, the courses are based on the West Australian Curriculum. Alongside this, Perth College has its own programme for Beliefs and Values, as well as our unique InsideOut self-leadership programme.

Years 11 and 12.

In Years 11 and 12, the curriculum is developed in line with the requirements of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). Our Year 12s are regularly among the highest performing students in the State, across a range of courses.

STEaM at Perth College.

We have a strong focus on STEaM initiatives at Perth College. Our programmes equip girls with the skills for high-tech future jobs and assist them with their further education. While STEM traditionally stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Perth College added a small ‘a’ for arts to represent the creative and critical thinking skills students will need in the future.

Student Exchange Programme.

We offer various exchange opportunities at Perth College. Boarders and day girls may apply for annual exchanges to The Study in Montreal, Canada, Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar in Melbourne and Ruyton Girls’ School in Melbourne.
