A quick guide to useful information
2023 Term Dates
Please see below for a summary of the important dates for 2023.
If you need to contact the School regarding a Perth College student with COVID-19 or to communicate a close household contact situation, please email COVIDAlertStudents@pc.wa.edu.au
We encourage our students to take pride in their appearance and their School, as the Perth College uniform easily identifies and differentiates our girls within the community. There is also a transition period at the beginning of Term Two and Term Four where students can wear either summer or winter uniform depending on the daily weather. By Week Four of these terms, students should be wearing the correct winter or summer uniform. More information on Perth College correct uniform requirements can be found in our Uniform Handbook below.

Transport and Bus Routes
Conveniently located in the heart of Mount Lawley, only three kilometres from the CBD, Perth College overlooks the majestic city skyline and is within easy reach of outer metropolitan, hills, river and Swan Valley suburbs. The School is also close to Edith Cowan University and the Swan River (our boatshed is located in Bayswater) and is serviced by a range of transport options.
Perth College provides additional buses to several suburbs throughout the city (see timetables below). Horizon West, is our bus services provider and students should look out for Horizon West buses with Perth College and a PC logo listed as the destination. Horizon West runs the Dianella, Hale/Mount Hawthorn, Kalamunda, and Mundaring bus routes and operate on an eTicketing platform. A How-to-Guide is listed below. Laminated bus cards issued by The Hub will therefore cease for these routes, but will still be accepted by bus drivers until the end of Term One 2021.
Instructions for use and for loading funds is available here: How To Guide - eTicketing Platform
To register for the cashless bus ticketing system, login via SPACE.
Please note: Robinson's Bus Charter will continue to operate the Guildford bus route using the laminated cards and single ride tickets. Tickets for this service will continue to be available for purchase at the Hub or Junior School Reception.
Canteen orders at Affie's Cafe and Flexi Schools Guidelines
Perth College operates an innovative cashless card system reducing the need for your daughter to carry cash to school. It is currently used in Affie's Café (canteen), for Perth College bus tickets and the Hub, but is likely to be extended to other areas of the School.
Your daughter’s Smartrider card, which serves as a Perth College student identification card and Library card, is also used for over-the-counter transactions around the School – much like a direct debit bankcard. Through this cashless card, parents control the amount of money accessible to their daughter at any time.
The funds available on the card can be used to pay for lunch orders and end-of-day snacks in Affie’s Café, and to pay for their bus tickets and so on, all within the daily spending limit you set.
The Perth College cashless student account is both convenient and easy to use. Funds can be added to your account from your phone, tablet or computer. Flexischools accepts VISA, Mastercard and PayPal or you can direct deposit. For more information on how to set up your Flexi Schools account, please read through the document below.
Note: Smartrider Transperth funds and the cashless card system are separate accounts using the same card. On the back of the ID card is information regarding how to top up transport funds.
