Learning Engagement Teacher (Full-time/Part-time)
Perth College is seeking an experienced Learning Engagement Teacher to join our dedicated Learning Engagement team. The primary aim of this role is to promote an inclusive educational environment by designing, supervising and assessing the educational programs of students with a range of learning needs.
Commencing in 2021, this role will initially be focused within the early childhood years and in particular, early intervention for these years. However, in line with the School’s Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 Learning and Teaching strategy, the willingness to support across other years groups is also required.
The ability to work co-operatively, share expertise and resources and enthuse and inspire students is essential for success in this role.
Your application needs to demonstrate a high level of competency implementing learning engagement strategies with an emphasis on early years intervention; as well as an understanding and ability to support structures and pathways progressing across Pre-Kindergarten to Year 7.
Some knowledge of Visible Learning research and Positive Education principles would be considered advantageous.
All Perth College teachers are involved in co-curricular activities and there are a variety of programs in which the teacher could be involved.
