Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor

Perth College is seeking a Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor who is able to plan and deliver on the School’s Annual Maintenance Plan. This role reports to the Property and Operations Manager within our Commercial Services Department.

To be successful in this role, you need to possess proven knowledge and experience in planning, co-ordinating and overseeing the daily operations of grounds and maintenance services across a variety of infrastructure.

Your application NEEDS to address specific criteria to support your experience. The criteria document must be a maximum of 2 pages in length and it should clearly detail your achievements/outcomes in:

  1. Planning, scheduling and co-ordination of materials, supplies and resources to meet required timelines.
  2. Use of systems and processes which support the ability to plan, schedule and co-ordinate a variety of activities and resources, including external parties required to complete grounds and maintenance activities.
  3. Ability to lead and manage a team including negotiation of schedules and rosters.
  4. Understanding legislation around Workplace Health and Safety and how you build this in your team culture.

A current drivers’ license is essential and qualifications in a relevant field such as Carpentry, Painting, Horticulture as well as holding a ‘HR’ drivers license classification considered highly advantageous for this role.
