2022 Student Results
Perth College recognises that the notion of ‘success’ is a personal measure, unique to everyone, and our students strive to achieve their personal bests in a range of fields through various pathways.
At this time of the year, we celebrate the wonderful academic achievements from our Class of 2022, through excellent ATAR results. Our students should be justifiably proud of their achievements. Of interest, 87% of our Year 12 students achieved early university entry offers to their desired courses, based on their Year 11 scores, our highest number ever. Clearly, the use of examinations and median ATAR scores to provide students with the ‘keys’ to enter university is dramatically shifting and Perth College continues to be agile in this space.
It is important to note that our School does not enrol students based on academic capability. We do not set prerequisites to filter less academically inclined students for the purpose of enhancing our median ATAR scores. We proudly encourage our students to ‘be brave, not perfect’ and ‘have a go’ at subjects that match their interests and aspirations regardless of their academic capabilities.
We live our Vision and as the sisters would say, ‘not merely gain distinction in examination lists’. We value diversity and inclusivity and believe these bring richness to our school. It is my sincerest wish that during their time at Perth College, our Class of 2022 have been afforded many opportunities to discover their strengths, confidently negotiate tricky relationships, understand the impact of their actions, and pursue a meaningful life.
The Class of 2022 gave much to the life of our School and we are proud of their efforts to break down barriers and achieve their personal bests.
